We went to the BIG park near our house today and they have rental bikes and a little kids track to teach kids how to ride bikes. We thought it would be fun to try with Ella but did NOT expect what happened. We got there, rented the bike for under 1 USD for 1 hour, she sat on in and within 10 feet and 2 pushes she was riding on her own. It was VERY hot, but after going around the track with Oliver following her a few times she just rode around the track on her own. There were of course training wheels as you can see but she was going fast. I tried to go around with her but couldn't keep up as running for me is a bit out of the question.
She waved at us each time she came around back to where we were sitting. She was so proud of herself and she kept saying "Big girl". It was a moment not to forget.
