Son Scott, wife Christine and daughter Maya are living in Atascadero, CA on their 6 ½ acre lot. Scott is still a partner in a construction firm and also has his own Schweitzer Construction Company. He has started to build a new home on their lot. Wife Christine continues as a homemaker and mother to their 2 ½ year old daughter Maya. She is also currently developing an electronic device with an engineering firm. She finished the trademark process and is working with a design team on the website. She also has a writing project. Daughter Julie, husband Oliver and their daughter Ella have moved to Tokyo Japan for 3 years where Oliver is the President of Dräger Medical Japan. Julie is taking Japanese lessons and working only part time at Dräger when 2 year old Ella is in nursery school. The three of them will be coming from Japan to be with us for Christmas. Scott and Julie's mother Gloria is still an RN for a large medical clinic.
Jon's sweetheart Beryle is still enjoying her retirement, garden and a Senior Fitness class.
Jon's mother Rose will be 91 years young on January 5 and is very thrilled and happy with all the pictures she receives in the mail of her 2 great-grandchildren and their families. She is also looking forward to seeing her 2 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren again.
Jon continues to be a genealogy consultant and teacher of genealogy, Internet, web site design and computer classes at the 2nd largest genealogy Family History Center. His family genealogy searchable database may be found on the Internet at: http://members2.1stnetusa.com/~a/schweitzer/
The entire family of 10 persons will be at our Christmas party at mother Rose's.
