The Very Best Wishes For The New Year From Jon Schweitzer And The Entire Family

Son-in law OLIVER was promoted to Dräger's Medical World Wide Manager of Anesthesia. Daughter JULIE, son-in-law OLIVER and Granddaughers ELLA and MINA moved from Tokyo, Japan to Hamburg, Germany. They lived in temporary housing for 3 months while looking for a place to live. They finally moved into their 3-story home in May. In June they left for 6 weeks to California where they spent lots of time with family and friends. They were in Encino, Los Angeles, Oceanside, San Francisco, Lake Tahoe, Lair Family Camp, Las Vegas and attended many shows and adventure parks. OLIVER was able to take 2 weeks off so they spent lots of time with him. On their way back to Germany, they stopped in London for almost a week to see their best friends from Japan. The girls were so excited to see Annabel, Arianna, Maddie, Constance and Franchesca. In September ELLA started the 1st grade and lost her first tooth on the first day of school. ELLA is now 6 years old and MINA is 3 years old. Both girls are now speaking German well. ELLA and JULIE started horseback riding. ELLA gave up her professional modeling in January. ELLA had her first piano recital and is taking ballet. MINA will start some activities next year. This December the whole family will spend the 3 weeks over Christmas in California and are looking forward to it very much. Son SCOTT and wife CHRISTINE have separated. They and their 6 year old daughter MAYA are all well. MAYA is in the 1st grade. Scott is building houses. There is a 30 page photographic Website for MAYA on the Internet at: http://www.encinojon.com/maya/

Scott and Julie's mother GLORIA is still doing a wonderful job caring for Jon's mother ROSE. Jon's mother ROSE will be 95 years young on January 5 and is very thrilled and happy with all the pictures she receives in the mail of her 3 great-grandchildren and their families. Jon's sweetheart BERYLE is still enjoying her retirement, garden and a Senior Fitness class. JON continues to be a genealogy consultant and teacher of genealogy, Internet, Website design and computer classes at the 2nd largest genealogy Family History Center.
