Son-in-law OLIVER continues to work for the Hospital equipment divison at Dräger Medical in Germany. Daughter JULIE is still working 32 hours a week in Global Sales and Service for Dräger Medical in Germany.
Their 6 year old daughter MINA started at the International School in January and began 1st grade in August. She speaks perfect German and English with a half-British half-American accent. MINA loves to sing and continues with ballet and field hockey. She started piano and the school choir this year, and is enjoying her new passion, gymnastics.
Their 9 year old daughter ELLA is having a great time in the 4th grade. She enjoyed her ever-increasing social circle and her new classmates at the private International School in Hamburg. ELLA is focusing on piano, choir and gymnastics this year and enjoying all of them. ELLA is more the party dancer and shows a lot of interest in cool music.
JULIE is the master of many separate lives: her social calendar remains busy and she seems to know almost anybody in and around Hamburg and the neighborhood. JULIE is working at Dräger's Medical a little bit more than expected and continues to keep a lot of balls up in the air at the same time. Again some international travel this year for work. OLIVER, as mentioned above, has accumulated more responsibility in his job.
OLIVER did some extensive traveling around the globe and is developing a bit of a social life of his own "with the boys". The whole family had their first ski trip in Austria, went again to California for the summer, to Denmark for the fall break and did a few side trips with the kids to Bremen and Amsterdam. This year they will spend Christmas in Germany with OLIVER's family.

Son SCOTT and CHRISTINE and their 9 year old daughter MAYA are all well. MAYA is in the 4th grade and is enjoying her art class. She went running with CHRISTINE in a 5K track event. MAYA still enjoys being outside in the grass, flowers and bugs. Scott is still a general contractor who does remodeling and sometimes builds houses. Scott and Julie's mother GLORIA is now retired in Oceanside, California and enjoying all the pictures and visits of her grandchilden. Jon's sweetheart BERYLE is still enjoying her retirement, garden, exercise class and singing every Saturday for residents of a local convalescent hospital. JON has retired as a genealogy consultant and teacher of genealogy classes after about 20 years at the 2nd largest genealogy Family History Library in Los Angeles.
